For over 50 years Leongatha Healthcare (formerly known as Leongatha Medical Group) has provided quality family medical care to the people of Leongatha and surrounding communities. Leongatha Healthcare is a fully Accredited General Practice as well as an accredited training practice, providing placements for GP Registrars, Interns and Medical Students
Currently 25 doctors consult from Leongatha Healthcare, providing a wide range of skills, supported by a full time Practice Manager, 12 P/T Practice Nurses and 14 P/T Reception & Admin Staff over the two sites.

DR LESLEY CHISHOLM (MBBS)
Lesley has practiced at LHC since 1990 and finds her patients are ageing with her! Lesley's special interests are Women's health, Counselling and now Aged care. She is married to Hugh and they have loved living and working in Leongatha for the past 31 years. They have found it to be a great place to bring up their 3 children, all 3 having now left home. Lesley enjoys travel, family time and reading.
DR HUGH CHISHOLM (MBBS, FRACGP)
Hugh has practiced at LHC since 1990. Hugh's special interests are Sports Medicine, Peadiatrics, Respiratory Conditions and Travel medicine. In his spare time Hugh enjoys travel and photography.

Chris specialises in General Practice, he is happy to manage all types of medical consultations.
DR GRAHAM TOOHILL (MBBS, FRACGP, DOBSRCOG, DTM&H, DRANZCOG)
Graham came to Leongatha in 1994 after working in Nepal for 12 years. He is married to Sue and they have 5 children and 6 grandchildren. They have greatly enjoyed living and working in this area with so much natural beauty. Graham has special interests in travel medicine and skin lesions, with a qualification in Dermoscopy. He runs regular skin cancer clinics.
DR SEWELLYN GALE (MBBS, DA(UK), DRANZCOG, FRACGP)
Sewellyn has practiced at LHC since 2006 and has a special Interest in anaesthetics and women’s health (including obstetrics). She enjoys all activities with her family as well as bushwalking, camping and handcrafts.
DR CHRIS PERRY (MBBS, FRACGP)
Chris started practicing at LHC in 2004. Chris enjoys the challenge of all aspects of General Practice, and is happy to manage all types of medical consultations.
DR JOEL FANNING (MBBS)
Joel has practiced at LHC since 2009 and has special interests in anaesthetics and family medicine.
DR ELISE LY
Dr Elise Ly is a GP obstetrician who has been practicing in Leongatha for many years, with no intention of leaving anytime soon! She has a special interest in managing pregnancy and labour, women's health, adolescent health and travel medicine, but is happy to manage all aspects of general practice. As well as practicing medicine, Elise spends her time teaching training doctors and looking after her four young children.
DR BEN O'LEARY
Ben is a Fellow of the GP College and specialises in General Practice and is happy to manage all types of medical consultations. Originally from Wellington, New Zealand, Ben started his Medical training at Otago University. Since graduating he moved to Australia and trained as a Rural Generalist with advanced skills in anaesthetics. He worked in Far North Queensland for several years, including a stint on Thursday Island doing remote generalist and retrieval work before moving to Leongatha. Prior to that he worked in Antarctica for a year as an expedition medical officer. Ben has a particular interest in expedition and dive medicine, as well as critical care and teaching.
DR CASSIE ZHOU (MBBS, FRACGP)
Cassie grew up in China and graduated from China Medical University in Shenyang in 1994. She began her medical career as an obstetrician/gynaecologist before transitioning to primary care, completing her GP training at Light Family Medicine Residency, also in Shenyang, in 2010. Cassie went on to establish one of the first general practice training programs in China and was actively involved in developing general practice as a new specialty in the country.
Cassie and her family immigrated to Australia in late 2016. Since April 2017, she has enjoyed working as a rural GP in Leongatha. She embraces all aspects of general practice with a special interest in mental health and aged care.
Cassie is married with two young adult children. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, running, and attending church.
DR JEAN NEE KHOO (FACRRM, DRANZCOG)
Jean Nee graduated from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland in 2008 and has attained FACRRM and DRANZCOG(Advanced) qualifications in 2018. Jean Nee has experience working in the hospital system in the UK and has worked in several hospitals in Victoria since 2011. Jean Nee has worked in various GP practices across Gippsland since 2014 which has given her a good range of exposure to many different modes and models of care.
Jean Nee's special interests include women's and adolescent health, providing obstetric and general medical care at the hospital, and also consulting at the Youth Access clinic.

Su Xin specialises in General Practice and is happy to manage all types of medical consultations.
DR SAM BELL
Sam is a GP obstetrician who has returned home to South Gippsland after working and training in Melbourne for the past 12 years. He provides supportive, patient-lead obstetric care at Leongatha Hospital including complex pregnancies and caesarean sections. Sam enjoys getting to know his patients and their families and is appreciated for his kind and confident manner. He enjoys cycling, cooking and spending time with his wife and two young children.

dr elle woolveridge
Elle is a fellow of the RACGP. She recently moved to South Gippsland from Tasmania and is enjoying settling into the area with her young family. Elle will consult from Leongatha Healthcare two days per fortnight, specialising in skin checks and procedures. Elle has completed extensive further training in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment. Outside of work Elle enjoys gardening, painting, exploring nature and undertaking ongoing medical education.

Dr Samantha walker
Dr Samantha Walker is an original Gippslandian, having grown up on a dairy farm near Maffra. Currently Samantha is training in Leongatha as a Rural Generalist GP registrar with a subspecialty of anaesthetics. Samantha has a special interest in women's health, pain medicine and preventative health; with a passion for delivering quality care to people of regional and rural communities.
Prior to her medical life Samantha was a costume designer and still enjoys sewing, keeping fit and watching movies with her partner Tom.

Dr Rawa Fadheel has been practicing medicine in Gippsland for 14 years and is excited to be joining Leongatha Healthcare to be able to serve the people of Leongatha & surrounding communities.
Rawa has lots of experience in different fields of general practice & emergency medicine & has recently completed advanced training in palliative care as a subspecialty of General Practice.
Rawa’s main interests are women’s health, dermatology, palliative care, emergency medicine & mental health.
